2020 NEC Code Changes

For all licensed electricians, 2020 is a code change year. Don’t be caught off guard by new requirements found in the 2020 edition of the National Electrical Code. Our Code Change class will provide a thorough review of major code changes that will soon be enforced. Learn them the easy way, in class with us.

Before renewing in September 2020, all licensed electricians must complete 24 hours of continuing education. Pursuant to Board Rules 11.3.4 and 11.3.5, continuing education hours must be selected from among the Core Competencies below in any combination, except that a minimum of four (4) continuing education hours must be related to National Electrical Code changes. In addition, a maximum of four (4) hours may be related to safety training.
